Kako, a sixteen-year-old high school student, attends a group blind date while pretending to be twenty-two. She meets Kota, a man who initially seems intimidating but later helps her out of an uncomfortable situation. As the two develop a mutual interest, Kota eventually discovers that Kako lied about her age. Because Kota is a police officer, his professional obligations complicate their relationship, leading the pair to navigate the difficulties of their age gap and his career.
Directed by Ryuichi Hiroki, the film is a comedy from Japan. It is one of two projects released by the director in 2017, following The Miracles of the Namiya General Store. The screenplay was written by Nami Kikkawa. The movie stars Kazuya Kamenashi as Kota Sagano and Tao Tsuchiya as Kako Motoya, with a supporting cast that includes Mahiro Takasugi, Tina Tamashiro, Aya Omasa, and Rie Tomosaka.
The film has received mixed reactions from viewers. It holds a rating of 5.3/10 on IMDb based on 333 votes, while it is more positively received on TMDB with a score of 7.2/10 from 47 votes.
