What's left behind the scenes

  • At the beginning of the film, during the scenes set in Irkutsk in 2003, young Nadia has a poster in her room featuring 2006 Olympic ice dance champions Tatiana Navka and Roman Kostomarov in their costumes from their 2006 Olympic program, 'Carmen'.
  • The beginning of the film features a title card reading 'Irkutsk, 2003.' The young protagonist is watching a live broadcast of figure skating on the Russia 1 channel, which was not named as such until 2010. In 2003, it was called 'Russia' and had a different logo.
