Husband & Wife

Andrea, a neurosurgeon, and Sofia, a television presenter, have been married for ten years and are facing a crisis that has them considering divorce. After a scientific experiment goes wrong, the couple unexpectedly wakes up in each other's bodies. Forced to swap their daily lives and professional responsibilities, they must navigate their partner's career and habits. This experience compels them to view their relationship from a new perspective and confront the issues threatening their marriage.

The comedy was directed by Simone Godano and marked his first solo feature film, preceding his work on Family Matters and Aldair - Cuore Giallorosso. The movie stars Pierfrancesco Favino as Andrea and Kasia Smutniak as Sofia, with supporting roles played by Valerio Aprea, Marta Gastini, Andrea Bruschi, and Gaetano Bruno. The screenplay was written by Giulia Louise Steigerwalt and Carmen Danza.
