Arctic Blast

A solar eclipse triggers a series of environmental disasters, including a breach in the ozone layer that allows super-chilled air to flood the atmosphere. This phenomenon causes temperatures to plummet rapidly, freezing everything in its path and threatening to plunge the world into a new Ice Age. Jack Tate, a scientist specializing in Earth sciences, discovers the danger after the crew of a research ship is found frozen. He must struggle to convince the authorities of the impending catastrophe while dealing with a difficult divorce and a strained relationship with his teenage daughter.
