Nothing Personal

A young Dutch woman named Anne abandons her possessions and former life to travel alone through the austere landscapes of Connemara, Ireland. During her journey, she encounters Martin, an older hermit living in isolation. The two form an agreement where Anne provides labor in exchange for food, under the strict condition that they avoid any personal involvement. Despite their opposite personalities and a shared belief that solitude is the only path to freedom, they gradually develop a mutual curiosity and a unique bond.

This 2009 drama was written and directed by Urszula Antoniak, marking the first of three films she directed, followed by Code Blue and Nude Area.
