Armored

Armored is a 2009 American crime thriller about a group of security guards who work for an armored transport company and decide to rob their own employer. Ty Hackett, a veteran back from Iraq, takes a job as a guard to support his younger brother and is drawn into a plan proposed by his team leader. The scheme involves moving tens of millions of dollars with no weapons and no injuries, but an unexpected witness throws it off course, the men turn on one another, and the situation escalates into a fight for survival.

Nimród Antal directed the film, his fourth feature after Insurance, Kontroll and Vacancy, from a screenplay by James V. Simpson. Matt Dillon plays Cochrane, with Jean Reno, Laurence Fishburne, Amaury Nolasco, Fred Ward and Milo Ventimiglia among the twenty credited cast members.

Released on December 4, 2009, the film runs 88 minutes and was made for about 20 million dollars, earning roughly 23 million worldwide. It holds a 5.7 rating on IMDb from around 33,000 votes and a 5.8 on TMDB from roughly 724 votes, indicating a modest audience response.
