Just After Midnight

Suzanne is a blind teacher who lives among other visually impaired people. After studying a course on art history focused on witches and the erotology of Satan, she becomes obsessed with regaining her sight. When her first attempt to steal a man's eyes fails, she targets Pierre, her personal reader, who is deeply in love with her and easier to manipulate.

This French fantasy horror short was directed by Anne-Marie Puga and Jean-Raymond Garcia, who also wrote the screenplay. It followed their 2008 film Jeunes pousses. The cast features India Hair as Suzanne and Rémi Taffanel as Pierre, with additional appearances by Melchior Derouet, Jean-Pierre Dionnet, Eowyn Ptak, and Clément Sancier. The movie was produced by TS Productions, Virginie Films, and UProduction and was released on October 1, 2017.
