In 1940, the entire population of Friar, New Hampshire, suddenly abandoned their homes and possessions to walk into the wilderness along a mountain trail. While some were later found dead from exposure or violent means, many others vanished without a trace, leaving behind only a cryptic message carved into stone. Decades later, a group of explorers ventures into the unexplored forest to find the trail and uncover the truth behind the disappearance of the townspeople, only to face a descent into madness.

This horror thriller was co-directed by Jesse Holland and Andy Mitton, who also co-wrote the screenplay. It represents the first film in the directorial careers of both Holland and Mitton, who later collaborated on We Go On in 2016. Mitton further expanded his filmography with The Harbinger in 2023. The ensemble cast includes Michael Laurino, Anessa Ramsey, Alex Draper, Cassidy Freeman, Clark Freeman, and Tara Giordano.
