Two friends from Edinburgh, Vaughn and Marcus, leave the city for a weekend of hunting in a remote village in the Scottish Highlands. Marcus is the more experienced of the two, and the trip is meant as a chance to reconnect away from everyday life. A hunting accident changes everything: someone is killed, and the two men decide to hide what happened rather than face the consequences. Their attempt to cover it up draws them into a growing web of lies and suspicion, and the people around them begin to sense that something is wrong.
