Destination Wedding

Frank and Lindsay are two unhappy strangers who meet while travelling to a wedding neither of them wants to attend. Forced into each other's company on the journey and throughout the celebrations, they initially irritate one another, yet the time they spend together gradually shifts how they see each other. The film follows the two guests as their shared reluctance turns into something warmer over the course of the event.

Destination Wedding is a comedy-drama-romance directed and written by Victor Levin, whose previous film as director was 5 to 7 in 2014. Winona Ryder plays Lindsay and Keanu Reeves plays Frank, with supporting roles including DJ Dallenbach as Ann, Ted Dubost as Keith, D. Rosh Wright as Frank's Mother and Greg Lucey as Frank's Stepfather. Robert Jones, Gail Lyon and Cassian Elwes produced.

The film was released in August 2018 and runs 90 minutes. Made for a budget of 7 million dollars, it took about 2 million dollars at the worldwide box office. On IMDb it holds a rating of 6 out of 10 from around 36,000 votes, while on TMDB it has 5.8 out of 10 from roughly 850 votes. A film critics' rating of 5.3 out of 10 comes from 86 reviews, placing it a little below the audience scores on both platforms.
