Sorry, Haters

Set in the United States after the events of September 11, this drama explores the tensions and suspicions of the era. Ashade, a Muslim cab driver and chemistry graduate, picks up Phoebe, a successful professional woman. Despite their different social standings, they form a connection when Ashade shares the struggles of his brother, who is facing legal trouble due to terrorism suspicions. While Phoebe offers help, her motives are not entirely transparent, and the encounter eventually leads to Ashade becoming a suspect himself.

The film was written and directed by Jeff Stanzler, who also served as a producer alongside Gary Winick and Karen Jaroneski. The cast features Robin Wright as Phoebe and Abdellatif Kechiche as Ashade, with supporting roles played by Sandra Oh, Aasif Mandvi, and Élodie Bouchez.
