Ash, Dawn and Brock are on their way to Crown City to watch a Pokémon Baccer tournament when they meet Zorua, a young Pokémon searching for its mother. Their journey brings them into contact with the shape-shifting Zoroark, whose rampage threatens the city, while the legendary Raikou, Entei and Suicune appear there as well. The time-travelling Pokémon Celebi also returns to Crown City, and a media figure pursues his own interest in it.
