Still Burning

Still Burning follows the chance meeting in Paris in June 1998 between André, a Lebanese filmmaker based in France, and Walid, a former close friend. Years earlier, the two men shared a passion for cinema and a romantic interest in the same woman, Amira, while living in Beirut during the civil war. Their overnight reunion forces them to confront repressed memories and emotional conflicts from their shared past.

The drama was written and directed by Georges Hachem, who also served as a producer alongside Hussein Gharib. The film features a cast including Wajdi Mouawad as Andre and Fadi Abi Samra as Walid, with Adila Bendimerad appearing as Camille Morin. Other cast members include Rami Nihawi and Rodrigue Sleiman. Produced in Lebanon, the movie has a total runtime of 110 minutes and was released on December 9, 2016.
