The Favor

Kathy Whiting is a married woman whose life has settled into routine. With a high school reunion approaching, she becomes preoccupied with Tom Andrews, a former classmate she never became involved with, and wonders how things might have turned out. Unwilling to be unfaithful to her husband Peter, she asks her single friend Emily to pursue Tom instead and report back. Emily does as asked, but the arrangement strains the two women's friendship, and complications follow when Emily becomes pregnant and cannot be certain whether Tom or her boyfriend Elliott is the father.

The Favor was released in 1994 and runs 97 minutes.
