There's Someone Inside Your House

Makani Young has been sent from Hawaii to live with her grandmother in rural Nebraska, where she is finishing high school at Osborne High. As graduation approaches, a masked killer begins targeting students, breaking into their homes and terrorizing them before revealing their darkest secrets to the whole town. The mask is modelled on each victim's own face. Makani, who has a troubled past she would rather leave behind, joins her friends in trying to work out who is behind the attacks before they become targets themselves.

The film is an adaptation of Stephanie Perkins's novel of the same name. Patrick Brice directed it, from a screenplay by Henry Gayden; James Wan and Shawn Levy are among the producers. It is the fifth feature Brice directed, following Creep, The Overnight, Creep 2 and Corporate Animals. Sydney Park plays Makani, with Théodore Pellerin, Asjha Cooper, Dale Whibley, Jesse LaTourette and Diego Josef among the cast.

Released in September 2021, the film runs 96 minutes. On IMDb it holds a rating of 4.9 from around 22,000 votes, and on TMDB 5.3 from roughly 800 votes. A critics' rating of 5.4 from 59 reviews places it close to the audience scores, so the response was broadly similar across viewers and reviewers.
