Body Cam

Body Cam is a 2020 American horror thriller directed by Malik Vitthal. The story follows Renee Lomito-Smith, a Los Angeles police officer still reeling from the death of her former partner, whose routine traffic stop ends in a violent and inexplicable killing. As she looks into what happened, she finds evidence that points toward something supernatural rather than an ordinary crime. More officers die in similarly strange circumstances, and Renee works to understand the force responsible while dealing with the fallout inside her department. The screenplay is by John Ridley and Nick McCarthy, and the cast includes Nat Wolff, David Zayas, Anika Noni Rose, David Warshofsky and Ian Casselberry alongside Mary J. Blige as Renee.

The film was Malik Vitthal's second feature, following Imperial Dreams in 2014, and it was produced by Matt Kaplan for Paramount Players and ACE Entertainment with a budget of about 10 million dollars. It runs 96 minutes.
