The Trouble with You

Set on the French Riviera, this story follows Yvonne, a police detective and the widow of a local hero named Santi. After discovering that her late husband was actually a corrupt officer, Yvonne seeks to make amends for his actions. She connects with Antoine, a man who spent eight years in prison because of Santi's dishonesty. As Yvonne attempts to help Antoine reintegrate into society, their relationship triggers a series of chaotic events.

The film was directed by Pierre Salvadori, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Benoît Graffin and Benjamin Charbit. In the timeline of Salvadori's work, this production follows After You (2003) and Priceless (2006), and precedes La Vénus électrique (2026).
