Lupin the Third: Dragon of Doom

Lupin and his companions pursue a mysterious dragon statue located within the wreck of the Titanic. The artifact is connected to the origins of Goemon's sword and possesses a strength that defies the blade's cutting power. While Lupin seeks to succeed where his grandfather previously failed, a powerful gangster from Hong Kong also attempts to seize the object to further his own ambitions. This competition creates tension within the group, as Goemon feels a duty to protect the relic even at the risk of his friendships. The chase leads the characters from Tokyo to Paris and eventually to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

This 1994 Japanese TV movie was directed by Masaharu Okuwaki, who previously directed Dirty Pair: Affair on Nolandia in 1985 and later directed Eikou e no Spur: Igaya Chiharu Monogatari in 1997. The screenplay was written by Nobuaki Kishima. The voice cast features Yasuo Yamada as Arsène Lupin III, Kiyoshi Kobayashi as Daisuke Jigen, Eiko Masuyama as Fujiko Mine, Makio Inoue as Goemon Ishikawa XIII, Gorō Naya as Inspector Koichi Zenigata, and Naoko Matsui as Kikyō.
