Lake Placid: Legacy

A group of young explorers travels to a remote area that does not appear on maps or GPS devices. After navigating a lake, they find an abandoned facility on an island where a massive and lethal predator lives. The group must work together to survive after ignoring warnings about the dangerous creature inhabiting the waters.

This South African production was directed by Darrell James Roodt, following his previous work on films such as Sarafina!, Father Hood, Second Skin, Dracula 3000, and Prey. The screenplay was written by Jonathan Walker, and the movie was produced by Daniel Iron and Lance Samuels.
