The Last Sharknado: It's About Time

The Last Sharknado: It's About Time continues the story of Fin Shepard, who has spent the series fighting shark-filled storms around the world. Left alone on a devastated Earth after the events of the previous film, he discovers that a sharknado can serve as a gateway through time. Using it, he travels into the past in search of a way to stop the very first sharknado, the one that set everything in motion, and to reunite with the team of shark fighters he has lost. His journey carries him across different historical eras, where he encounters threats beyond the usual flying predators.

The film is directed by Anthony C. Ferrante, the seventh of fourteen features he has directed in chronological order, following Sharknado 5: Global Swarming and preceding Zombie Tidal Wave. Scotty Mullen wrote the screenplay, and David Michael Latt produced for The Asylum and Syfy. Ian Ziering and Tara Reid return as Fin and April Shepard, joined by Cassandra Scerbo, Vivica A. Fox, Judah Friedlander and Debra Wilson among a credited cast of 63, with 92 credited crew members. Made for about 3 million dollars, it runs 86 minutes. On IMDb it holds a rating of 3.6 from around 5,800 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 4.4 from 277 votes; a critics' rating of 5.1 from 11 reviews sits above both audience scores.
