A military crew searching for an unidentified submersible encounters a giant shark. The crew members must rely on the limited equipment available on their vessel to protect themselves from the predatory creature.

It marks the first of two directed works by James Thomas, followed by Tomb Invader later that year. The cast features Michael Madsen as Admiral King, along with Scott C.
