The Dive

Three brothers return to their childhood kibbutz in northern Israel to bury their father during a time of war. While the siblings attempt to set aside their differences to honor their father's wishes, the youngest brother prepares to deploy to the front lines in two days. He seeks advice from his older brothers, who are both veterans of combat, but their conflicting perspectives on his departure cause the family reunion to spiral out of control.

Written and directed by Yona Rozenkier, this 2019 Israeli production blends elements of comedy, drama, history, and war. It is the first of three films directed by Rozenkier, followed by The Sign and 35 Downhill. The movie features Yona Rozenkier as Itai, Yoel Rozenkier as Yoav, and Micha Rozenkier as Avishai, supported by a cast that includes Claudia Dulitchi, Shmuel Edelman, and Miki Marmur.
