Consequences

Andrej is an eighteen-year-old who is sent to a youth detention center following legal troubles. Once inside, he must navigate a harsh social hierarchy dominated by violence and drugs. He forms a complex bond with Željko, the group's influential leader, as the two move from rivalry to a close companionship. As their relationship develops, Andrej struggles to hide a repressed secret that Željko eventually recognizes and exploits to manipulate him into committing more serious crimes.

This crime drama marks the feature debut of Slovenian director and screenwriter Darko Štante, who drew from his own professional experience working in correctional facilities for troubled youth.
