Cruel Intentions 2

Cruel Intentions 2 follows Sebastian Valmont, a wealthy teenager whose rebellious behavior has led to his expulsion from yet another private school. He moves to New York City to live with his father and his new stepmother, where he meets his stepsister Kathryn Merteuil. Both are intelligent, attractive and skilled at manipulating the people around them, and Kathryn rules their exclusive school's social scene as student president. Sebastian, who wants to leave his past behind and settle into a more respectable life, becomes drawn to Danielle, the serious daughter of the school's headmaster. Kathryn has other plans and works to pull him back into her scheming world, setting up a conflict between the two stepsiblings.

The film is directed and written by Roger Kumble, following his 1999 debut Cruel Intentions, and was produced by Neal H. Moritz. Robin Dunne and Amy Adams lead the cast as Sebastian and Kathryn, with Sarah Thompson, Keri Lynn Pratt, Barry Flatman and Mimi Rogers appearing alongside them. Forty-two cast members and 109 crew members are credited. It had a modest reception: on IMDb it holds a rating of 4.4 from around 17,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 5.1 from roughly 451 votes, and a critics' rating of 3.7 from 11 reviews places it below even those audience scores.
