A housekeeper named Mi-ran stands accused of killing the elderly man she worked for, and the case lands on the desk of defense attorney Sun-ho. What should be a straightforward assignment becomes complicated when he learns that the only person who witnessed the death is Ji-woo, a teenage girl with autism. Getting a usable account from her proves difficult, and Sun-ho has to find a way to connect with a witness who does not communicate in the ways the courtroom expects.
The film comes from director Lee Han, who wrote the screenplay with Moon Ji-won. It was his first feature, arriving before his 2023 film Honeysweet. Jung Woo-sung plays Sun-ho, with Kim Hyang-gi as Ji-woo. The supporting cast includes Yeom Hye-ran as Mi-ran, Lee Kyoo-hyung, Jang Young-nam and Jung Won-joong. Lee Jun-u produced, and the production involved Lotte Entertainment, Movierock and Studio By The Library.
Released in February 2019, the drama runs 129 minutes. On TMDB it holds a rating of 7.8 out of 10 from 86 votes, a small but clearly positive sample.
