EXIT

Yong-nam is a young man with few prospects. Unemployed and living with his parents, he endures teasing from his family and has little to show for himself except his old college climbing skills. At a banquet marking his mother's seventieth birthday, he runs into Eui-ju, the woman who turned him down back in their university days and who now works in the same building. Before the celebration can wind down, a terrorist attack releases toxic gas across the city. With the streets deadly and the building's exits blocked, Yong-nam and Eui-ju must draw on everything they once learned in their college climbing club to get themselves and the people around them to safety.

EXIT was directed and written by Lee Sang-geun and produced by Baek Hyun-ik. It stars Cho Jung-seok as Yong-nam, Yoona as Eui-ju, Goh Doo-shim, Park In-hwan, Kim Ji-young and Kang Ki-young, with a credited cast of 36 and a credited crew of 45. The film was Lee Sang-geun's first feature, followed by Pretty Crazy in 2025.

Made on a budget of about 11 million USD, EXIT took roughly 70 million USD worldwide, a strong return for a Korean action comedy. On IMDb it holds 7/10 from 8,999 votes, and on TMDB 7.6/10 from 318 votes, indicating a generally favourable audience response.
