Fourteen

Fourteen is a drama about the evolving friendship between Mara and Jo, two residents of Brooklyn who have been close since they were fourteen. Spanning a decade, the story follows Mara as she attempts to support Jo, whose stability declines over time. It remains unclear whether Jo is struggling with substance abuse or a more profound internal crisis. As the years pass through various jobs and relationships, the cycle of Jo seeking help and Mara providing it creates a growing sense of resentment, testing the strength of their bond.
