Scalps

A group of science students travels to a remote area of the Californian desert to search for artifacts at an ancient Native American burial site. Despite warnings not to proceed, the students disturb the land and attract the attention of a malevolent entity. An evil spirit known as Black Claw possesses one of the students, leading to a violent struggle as the possessed individual attempts to kill the rest of the group.

The film was written and directed by Fred Olen Ray, marking the first of 27 films he directed, followed by Biohazard in 1985. The cast includes Richard Hench, who plays both Randy and Black Claw, alongside Roger Maycock, Frank McDonald, Carol Sue Flockhart, Jo-Ann Robinson, and Barbara Magnusson.
