Blanquita is a drama centered on Blanca, an eighteen-year-old living in a foster home. She emerges as a primary witness in a scandal involving wealthy men and politicians who participated in sexual parties with children. As the case attracts significant media attention, Blanca is viewed by some as a feminist symbol and by others as a troublemaker. However, as investigations continue and more questions are raised, her actual involvement and role in the events become increasingly ambiguous.
The film was written and directed by Fernando Guzzoni, following his 2016 film Jesus. It features Laura López in the title role, alongside Alejandro Goic, Amparo Noguera, Nicolás Durán, Daniela Ramírez, and Marcelo Alonso. A co-production involving companies from Luxembourg, Mexico, Poland, France, and Chile, the movie was made with a budget of 2 million USD. It has received a moderate reception from audiences, holding a 6.3 rating on IMDb based on 409 votes and a 6.4 rating on TMDB from 20 votes.
