Stardust

Set in 1971, this music drama follows a young David Bowie during his first visit to the United States. Accompanying his publicist, Ron Oberman, Bowie travels across the country to promote his third album, The Man Who Sold the World. While navigating a society unfamiliar with his style, the musician begins experimenting with fashion and image. This journey serves as a turning point in his career, as he draws inspiration from artists such as Lou Reed and Iggy Pop to develop the Ziggy Stardust persona.

The film was directed by Gabriel Range, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Christopher Bell. Johnny Flynn stars as Bowie, supported by a cast that includes Marc Maron, Jena Malone, and Julian Richings.
