Casper's Haunted Christmas

Casper's Haunted Christmas follows the friendly ghost Casper, who would rather make friends than frighten anyone. When Kibosh, the ruler of all ghosts, demands that Casper scare at least one person before Christmas, Casper travels to the town of Kriss, Massachusetts, and becomes involved with the Jollimore family. His gentle nature makes the task difficult, and his three uncles, who thrive on causing trouble, take matters into their own hands.

The film is an animated family fantasy from Canada, directed by Owen Hurley in his first feature. Hurley went on to direct several Barbie films, beginning with Barbie in the Nutcracker in 2001 and continuing through Barbie in the Pink Shoes in 2013. The screenplay is by Ian Boothby and Roger Fredericks, with Byron Vaughns producing. The voice cast includes Brendon Ryan Barrett as Casper, Kathleen Barr as Carol Jollimore, David Kaye as the narrator, and Graeme Kingston and Terry Klassen among the ghost characters.
