Escape Room: Tournament of Champions

Escape Room: Tournament of Champions continues the story of Zoey Davis and Ben Miller, survivors of the deadly escape rooms seen in the 2019 film. Still shaken by what they endured, the two set out to track down the people responsible for the game. Their search instead leaves them trapped once more, this time alongside four other players who each came through a deadly escape room of their own. As the group works to stay alive, they begin to see that they share something beyond survival, and that all of them have taken part in the game before. The puzzles they now face are more dangerous than anything they encountered previously.

Adam Robitel directs, following The Taking of Deborah Logan, Insidious: The Last Key and Escape Room. Taylor Russell and Logan Miller return as Zoey and Ben, joined by Indya Moore, Holland Roden, Thomas Cocquerel and Carlito Olivero among a credited cast of 28. The screenplay is by Oren Uziel, Will Honley and Maria Melnik, with Neal H. Moritz producing.

Made for a budget of 15 million dollars, the film took in about 66 million dollars worldwide, a strong return relative to its cost. On IMDb it holds 5.8 out of 10 from over 68,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.5 out of 10 from more than 2,300 votes. A critics' rating of 5.4 out of 10 from 79 reviews places it close to the audience scores.
