Short description

After receiving a cryptic letter from his estranged father, Norval travels to his dad’s oceanfront home for what he hopes will be a positive experience. If only he’d known the dark truth about his old man beforehand.

What's left behind the scenes

Director Anton Thompson came up with the idea for the film when his father died, and his father's business partner arranged for the embalmed body to remain in the house in an open casket for another week.
During filming, both Ant Thompson and Elijah Wood sustained injuries. For some time afterward, Thompson had to oversee the filming process without leaving the director's chair.
