Short description

The film is inspired by the record-breaking solo trip around the globe in a hot-air balloon made by the world-famous Russian explorer Fedor Konyukhov in July of 2016. Throughout his remarkable life, Konyukhov has proven time and time again that willpower, perseverance and faith can help overcome fear and doubt, and lead a person to triumph.

What's left behind the scenes

The project's development became known in 2018 during a presentation of projects by leading film production companies of the Cinema Fund. At that time, Fyodor Bondarchuk stated that he planned to direct the film himself. Information regarding the immediate preparation for filming emerged in February 2022, by which time Igor Voloshin had taken over the director's chair.
