Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is a 2020 Indian comedy romance about Kartik and Aman, a gay couple who want to marry. Their plans run into resistance from Aman's family, who want him to wed a woman instead. Kartik refuses to give up on the relationship, and much of the film follows the two men trying to bring Aman's relatives around while the family pushes its own matchmaking plans forward.

The film was directed and written by Hitesh Kewalya and produced by Aanand L. Rai, Himanshu Sharma and Bhushan Kumar. Ayushmann Khurrana plays Kartik and Jitendra Kumar plays Aman, with Pankhuri Awasthy as Kusum and Gajraj Rao, Manu Rishi Chadha and Neena Gupta as members of Aman's family. It is a follow-up to the 2017 film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, with which it shares a producer and a comic approach to social taboos, though it features a different story and cast.

Released on 21 February 2020 with a runtime of two hours, the film took about 7 million US dollars worldwide. On IMDb it holds 5.8 out of 10 from roughly 11,000 votes, and on TMDB a 6 out of 10 from a much smaller number of voters.
