Lucy Gulliver is a young woman working at an art gallery in New York who holds on to keepsakes from every relationship she has had. After a breakup leaves her with a growing collection of sentimental objects and nowhere to put them, she meets Nick, whose help leads her to set up a pop-up space where people can leave behind items connected to relationships that ended. The idea catches on quickly, drawing in others who are still hopeful about love, and gives Lucy a way to sort through her own past.
The Broken Hearts Gallery is a romantic comedy written and directed by Natalie Krinsky, marking the first feature she directed. Geraldine Viswanathan plays Lucy, with Dacre Montgomery as Nick and Utkarsh Ambudkar as Max Vora, alongside Molly Gordon, Phillipa Soo and Arturo Castro in supporting roles. The production, from No Trace Camping, runs 109 minutes.
On IMDb, the film holds a rating of 6.4 from around 11,000 votes, while on TMDB it averages 7.1 from 346 votes. Critics gave it 6.6 from 117 reviews, placing it close to the audience scores.
