Hubie Halloween

Hubie Dubois is a good-natured, easily frightened resident of Salem, Massachusetts, a town that lives for its Halloween celebrations. Hubie loves the place and its traditions, but most of his neighbours, children and adults alike, treat him as a joke. When the holiday brings a genuine threat to the town, he is the one who sets out to protect it.

Steven Brill directed the film, the eleventh title in his directing filmography after Heavyweights, Little Nicky, Mr. Deeds, Without a Paddle, Drillbit Taylor, Movie 43, Walk of Shame, The Do-Over, Sandy Wexler and Adam Sandler: 100% Fresh. Adam Sandler and Tim Herlihy wrote the screenplay, and Sandler produced with Allen Covert and Kevin Grady through Happy Madison Productions. Sandler leads the cast as Hubie, alongside Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta, Steve Buscemi and Rob Schneider. The production had a budget of 14 million US dollars and runs 102 minutes.
