Daphnée is hesitant to introduce her partner, Karim, to her parents. Unaware of the reasons for her reluctance, Karim decides to surprise her by hiding in the trunk of her car during a trip to visit her family. This decision puts him at risk, as Daphnée's parents are cannibals who expect their daughter to bring them young men to eat.

This French comedy-horror short film was directed by Pierre Mazingarbe, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Thomas Pujol and Xavier Lacaille. Released in 2019, it is the second film in Mazingarbe's career, following What Makes Me Take the Train from 2013 and preceding La pire mère au monde from 2025. The production was handled by Balade Sauvage Productions and features a cast including Géraldine Martineau as Daphnée, Moustafa Benaibout as Karim, Anne Benoît as Lisbeth, and Olivier Broche as Cornelius.
