Front of the Class

Front of the Class is a drama about Brad Cohen, a man living with Tourette syndrome. Because of his uncontrollable physical and vocal tics, he faced judgment from peers and educators during his youth. However, the support of a school principal inspired him to pursue a career in education. As an adult, he encounters repeated rejection from numerous schools before finding an opportunity to prove his capabilities as a teacher.

The television movie was directed by Peter Werner, who previously directed seven films, including Snow Wonder in 2005. The screenplay was written by Thomas Rickman and produced by Andrew Gottlieb. James Wolk stars as the adult Brad Cohen, with Dominic Scott Kay playing the character as a child. The cast also includes Treat Williams, Sarah Drew, Kathleen York, and Joe Chrest, with a total of 41 credited performers.
