The Promised Neverland

A group of children live in a carefully managed orphanage where they are provided with food, care, and affection by a woman they call Mother. While the facility appears ideal, the children are kept behind high walls. When Emma, Norman, and Ray discover the dark secret behind their residence, they realize they are being raised as food for demons. The children must then develop a desperate plan to escape the grounds to avoid death.

The film was directed by Yuichiro Hirakawa, marking the first of two listed films in his career, followed by Whisper of the Heart in 2022. The screenplay was written by Noriko Gotô and produced by Miho Kobayashi and Ken Murase. The cast features Minami Hamabe as Emma, Kairi Jo as Ray, Rihito Itagaki as Norman, Keiko Kitagawa as Isabella, Naomi Watanabe as Krone, and Miyu Andô as Gilda.
