Love, Guaranteed

Susan is an idealistic lawyer who usually takes on clients without charging them, but her struggling firm pushes her to accept a well-paid case. Her new client, Nick, wants to sue a dating website that promises users it will find them love. As Susan works on the case and tries out the service herself, her feelings for Nick grow and complicate the lawsuit.

Love, Guaranteed is a 2020 American romantic comedy directed by Mark Steven Johnson, working from a screenplay by Hilary Galanoy and Elizabeth Hackett. It is the seventh film in the directing career that runs from Simon Birch in 1998 through Daredevil, Ghost Rider, When in Rome, Killing Season and Finding Steve McQueen, and it arrived between that run of earlier work and later titles such as Love in the Villa and Champagne Problems. Rachael Leigh Cook, who also produced, stars as Susan opposite Damon Wayans Jr. as Nick; Heather Graham, Caitlin Howden, Brendan Taylor and Sebastian Billingsley-Rodriguez appear in supporting roles.
