Earth and Blood

Saïd operates a sawmill in the Ardennes forests, where he often employs former convicts and young delinquents. He plans to sell the business to provide a better future for his teenage daughter, Sarah. However, the situation turns violent when a drug cartel arrives to reclaim a large quantity of cocaine that an employee was forced to hide on the property. To protect his daughter, Saïd must use his knowledge of the terrain to defend the sawmill, which becomes a fortified site during a deadly confrontation with the gangsters.

The film was directed by Julien Leclercq, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jérémie Guez and Matthieu Serveau. Earth and Blood is the fourth film in Leclercq's directing career, following The Assault, The Crew, and The Bouncer. The cast is led by Sami Bouajila, with performances from Ériq Ebouaney, Samy Seghir, Sofia Lesaffre, Redouanne Harjane, and Eric Kabongo. This Belgian and French production was produced by Julien Madon.
