Tremors: Shrieker Island

Tremors: Shrieker Island is an action, comedy, horror and science fiction film in which Burt Gummer is pulled back into action against the underground predators he has spent years fighting. A wealthy hunter, determined to create the ultimate trophy expedition, has graboid eggs brought illegally to an island resort and genetically altered. When the creatures escape and begin attacking people nearby, the staff of a research station seek out the one man known for his expertise in destroying graboids. Burt reluctantly leads the group into conflict with the larger and more intelligent animals, while the multiplying shriekers add to the danger.

The film was directed by Don Michael Paul, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Brian Brightly. It is the fourteenth of the fifteen films he has directed in chronological order, following Jarhead: Law of Return in 2019 and preceding Bulletproof 2 in 2020. Michael Gross returns as Burt Gummer, the role he has played across the series, and the cast includes Jon Heder as Jimmy, Caroline Langrishe as Jasmine Welker, Cassie Clare as Anna, Matthew Douglas as Dr. Alistair Richards and Sahajak Boonthanakit as Mr. Bowtie. Todd Williams produced.

Universal 1440 Entertainment and Living Films produced the film in the United States, and it runs 102 minutes. It was released in October 2020.
