Offering to the Storm

Inspector Amaia Salazar returns to the Baztan valley to investigate the suspicious death of a child. While local authorities consider previous cases closed, Amaia suspects a connection between new infant deaths and older crimes. Her investigation leads her to uncover dark secrets and ritualistic activity in the region, forcing her to confront the source of her own nightmares. This crime thriller serves as the third installment in the Baztan Trilogy.

Directed by Fernando González Molina, the film followed his previous work, The Legacy of the Bones. It is the sixth film in his career, preceding his 2026 projects. The production was a joint venture between Germany and Spain, featuring a cast that includes Marta Etura, Carlos Librado Nene, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Imanol Arias, Ana Wagener, and Francesc Orella.
