The Decline

A group of people, including a father named Antoine, gather at a remote hideout in Quebec to attend a survivalist course led by an expert named Alain. The participants train to handle various apocalyptic scenarios, such as social or economic collapses. However, a fatal accident occurs during the training, triggering panic among the diverse group. The situation quickly spirals into a violent struggle for existence, turning their preparation for a future disaster into an immediate and unpredictable fight for survival.

The action thriller was directed by Patrice Laliberté, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Charles Dionne and Nicolas Krief. The film features Réal Bossé as Alain, alongside a cast that includes Marc-André Grondin, Guillaume Laurin, Marie-Evelyne Lessard, Marc Beaupré, and Marilyn Castonguay.
