Choked

A young man is dealing with the end of a relationship with a girl he loved. As he faces a moment in which he believes he is about to die, his thoughts turn to the greatest fear of his life, one that was planted in him by his first teacher. Memories of a school far away and of recent events pass through his mind.

Choked is a short Russian drama directed by Yuliya Saponova, who was in the early stages of her directing career at the time of its release. Dana Zhane wrote the screenplay and produced the film. It runs nine minutes and was released in March 2016.
