Warriors of the Wasteland

Set in a post-nuclear future, the story follows a young man named Jovan who travels through a ruined landscape. After his family suffers at the hands of a man named Tudjin, Jovan faces a conflict between seeking revenge and maintaining a peaceful existence in the mountains to protect his family heritage. As he navigates a devastated world, he must decide which side to support in a struggle that determines the future of civilization.

Directed by Nemanja Ćeranić, this action-adventure film is the second of three works directed by him listed in chronological order, following Sunday and preceding Sword of Vengeance. The screenplay was written by Strahinja Madžarević. The ensemble cast features Igor Benčina as Jovan, Sergej Trifunović as Tudjin, and Isidora Simijonović as Andjelija, with Žarko Laušević serving as the narrator. Other roles are played by Marta Bjelica and Miloš Biković.

Produced in Serbia by Mir Media Group, Telekom Srbija, and Režim, the film has a runtime of 140 minutes. Following its release in late 2024, it received a rating of 6.9 on TMDB based on 9 votes.
