Very Good Girls
Short description
Two recent high school graduates in New York City, the introspective Lilly and her more outgoing friend Gerry, spend the summer before college promising to lose their virginity. Their plan is complicated when both become interested in David, a young artist they meet in the city. As Lilly begins a relationship with him, Gerry's feelings for him grow, and the lifelong friendship between the two women is tested for the first time.
Very Good Girls is a 2013 drama written and directed by Naomi Foner, a screenwriter making her directorial debut. Dakota Fanning plays Lilly and Elizabeth Olsen plays Gerry, with Boyd Holbrook as David. Demi Moore, Richard Dreyfuss and Ellen Barkin appear in supporting roles. The film runs 91 minutes and was released in January 2013.
