Super Eruption

A geologist and a park ranger must work together when a dormant supervolcano in Yellowstone National Park begins to erupt. As geological activity threatens to release a toxic cloud that could trigger a global winter and devastate the United States, the two protagonists struggle to convince authorities of the danger and find a way to stop the disaster.

This 2011 science fiction television movie was directed by Matt Codd, following his 2006 film Dragon Dynasty. Produced by MarVista Entertainment, Unified Film Organization, and BUFO, the film features a screenplay by Rafael Jordan and was produced by Ric Nish. The cast is led by Richard Burgi as Charlie Young and Juliet Aubrey as Kate, with supporting roles played by MyAnna Buring, Peter Vollebregt, Daniel S. Ehrlich, and Alex Wyndham.
