Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two

Set in Gotham City, this animated crime mystery follows Batman as he hunts a serial killer known as Holiday, whose attacks are tied to the calendar and to the city's organized crime families. District attorney Harvey Dent is drawn into the conflict between the Falcone and Maroni operations, while a rising wave of costumed criminals changes the balance of power. Batman comes to suspect that someone formerly close to him may be responsible for the killings, and events at Arkham Asylum add further pressure to an already unstable situation. The film adapts the second half of a DC Comics story.

Chris Palmer directs, following his earlier work on Superman: Man of Tomorrow and the first part of this story; a deluxe edition combining both parts followed. Tim Sheridan wrote the screenplay, with Jim Krieg and Kimberly S. Moreau producing. The voice cast includes Jensen Ackles as Batman and Bruce Wayne, Josh Duhamel as Harvey Dent, Naya Rivera as Catwoman, Billy Burke as Commissioner Gordon, Titus Welliver as Carmine Falcone and Luigi Maroni, and Troy Baker as the Joker. Around twenty cast and seventy crew members are credited.

The film runs 87 minutes. On IMDb it holds 7.2 out of 10 from roughly 19,000 votes, and on TMDB 7.4 out of 10 from about 596 votes, indicating a solid audience response. A critics' rating of 7.9 out of 10 from 15 reviews places it slightly above those audience scores.
